The newest album from Winona Forever, Acrobat, features a collection of songs that are pristinely recorded. Bouncy piano, frantic guitars, and slow paced romance each take center stage in this collaboration; a series of recordings that brought some purpose to a period of lockdown in Montreal. Drawing inspiration from 70's pop records and home recording techniques, Winona Forever appeals to the audiophile with Acrobat. The sound and influence evoke flavors of Steely Dan, and Todd Rundgren while fitting well into today's indie rock canon with the likes of Benny Sings, Drugdealer, and Parcels. The album includes previously released singles 'Never Enuff', 'Butterflies', and 'Pen Pal' and will be followed by a North American tour and stops at SXSW and Treefort Music Festival. Acrobat is out on April 14th via Acrophase Records.
