Costa Rica's fuzz-loving six-piece psych rockers Las Robertas return with All We Need Is Now, arriving June 26 via Kanine Records. The album follows their 2023 release Love Is the Answer, produced by Owen Morris. All We Need Is Now explores the power of living in the present-overcoming fear, letting go of the past and sadness, and reaching a higher spiritual version of ourselves through healing and focusing on what truly matters in life. Leaning heavily into the best of '90s alternative rock, the album draws influence from The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Lush, The Charlatans, Primal Scream, Ride, My Bloody Valentine, Chapterhouse, and Slowdive. These classic 90s sounds are filtered through Las Robertas' signature bright, sunny psych-pop sensibility. The release is paired with artwork by Costa Rican mixed-media artist Juliana Quesada, featuring the iconic blue Morpho butterfly and mint-green vinyl. These beautiful creatures evolve within a short lifespan, seizing each day as if it were their last-a powerful symbol of living fully in the present.
