The RRAV498 is a direct replacement for the original Yamaha RAV498 and works immediately with compatible Yamaha AV receivers without requiring programming. This remote provides all essential control functions including input selection, volume adjustment, and complete menu navigation for seamless operation. Though pre-programmed for Yamaha AV receivers, it can be configured to control other devices such as TVs, DVD players, and satellite receivers using the included manual. The RRAV498 controls Zone 1 functions on multi-zone receivers. It serves as a compatible substitute for the original remote supplied with Yamaha receiver models HTR6280, RXV1065, and RXV1065BL.
