Formerly known as Riff Cannon, Summoner are a Boston institution who fuse elements of metal, stoner rock, doom, and cosmic psychedelia into a heavy rock monster that obliterates everything it meets. Following a well-received release under their old moniker, the re-christened band barreled onto the scene in 2012 with "Phoenix," their debut as Summoner, selling out multiple pressings with virtually no promotion or distribution. The now classic "Atlantian" followed in 2013, cementing them as a force in the re-awakened stoner/doom underground.
