Birgit Jones the all girl rock trio from Berlin offers gives us some tongue-in-cheek lyrics, bombastic basses and rocky riffs that break the chains of alternative rock and mark the birth of post-glam doom.

While namesake Bridget Jones - Helen Fielding's clumsy novel heroine - prefers chocolate for breakfast, Birgit Jones prefers to enjoy a strong whiskey sour late at night.

The band was formed in 2018 when musicians Kristin (bass), Rike (vocals) and Nathalie (drums) gave their common alter-ego a name. Birgit Jones was born: a woman who doesn't mince words and demands uncompromisingly what is due to her.

"In general our sound is inspired mostly by Royal Blood because without them we would have never thought that we could have a band without a guitarist" Says Kristin
