Includes a 20 page booklet with a detailed essay by Mark Humphrey on the history and popularity of the piano, and blues pianists in particular, plus the lyrics to all the songs. The legendary Roosevelt Sykes a.k.a. "The Honeydripper" is represented on this compilation with 12 tracks, 10 of them previously unissued while Curtis Jones and Poor Boy Burke have 2 each while Willie "Boodle It" Right has 1.
