In February 2025, Heather Nova releases her 13th album, "Breath and Air" on V2 Records. It's a collection of evocative songs that are rich in melody, lyric and arrangement, with Heather's signature vocal as strong and ethereal as ever. The album enfolds you in a timeless atmosphere; Inviting you to forget everything for a moment, while simultaneously coming home to yourself. Heather wrote the songs on "Breath and Air" over the past 2 years and spent 4 weeks in the Devon countryside (UK) holed up in an enchanting studio with Chris Bond (Ben Howard) putting down the tracks. A lot of the songs are about love and loss and longing. Repeating themes through my life - the search for wholeness, healing and meaning. I keep coming back and looking at it from different angles, through time and through music. It's an ongoing journey that shows no sign of reaching a destination. My songs are documents of that journey"
