Well known for his soundtrack work with filmmaker Alex Cox (Repo Man/Sid and Nancy) and collaborations with Joe Strummer, Zander's sophomore album release sees the multi-instrumentalist writing orchestral elements and baroque textural flourishes into long-play arrangements, creating a soundscape that shimmers with a warm psychedelic vividness. With legendary musician and producer Alain Johannes now manning the board, the record captures Schloss' elevation from punk rock legend to masterful songwriter and musical director.
