Fellow denizens of Chicago, IL, Charles Rumback (drums, organ) and Ryley Walker (acoustic and electric guitar, piano, bells) laid down this record during two short sessions, a month apart, overseen by Brian J. Sulpizio. Each player's schedule was too hectic ahead of these sessions to allow any time to discuss the direction of the record, so what you hear was wholly improvised on the spot. The results maybe recall the legendary jams of Sandy Bull and Billy Higgins, perhaps the soundtrack work of Ry Cooder, or Neil Young circa Dead Man... whatever you hear there is an undeniably magical chemistry at play. This special Record Store Day 12" EP is pressed on electric blue vinyl.
