This album's original ten traditional holiday songs are Strait's personal favorites and they were recorded with the Texas Troubadour's own country flare. Songs include the Christmas anthem 'We Three Kings', the playful 'Up on the Housetop', and enduring classics such as 'Hark, The Herald Angels Sing', 'Deck the Halls', 'O Come, All Ye Faithful', and 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas', among others. George Strait is the Artist known as the "King of Country" and is considered one of the most influential and popular recording artists of all time. He is known for his neo-traditionalist country style, cowboy look, and being one of the first and main country artists to bring country music back to it's roots and away from the pop country era in the 1980s.
