This lot comes directly from Supatá, Vereda Imparal in Cundinamarca, Colombia—grown at 1,670 masl by producer Juan Gonzalez. Exclusive to Burning Oaks Coffee Company, it’s a true farm-to-cup offering. These beans are brought to us through family connections with fellow Navy veteran Dan Gonzalez of Alchemy Harvest Coffee in Seattle, whose family owns the farm.
The Yellow Bourbon varietal is known for its vibrant sweetness and layered fruit character. Naturally processed to preserve the depth of flavor, this lot highlights aromas of red berries and blueberries, with tasting notes of coffee pulp, wine, and rich chocolate. Roasted to a light-medium profile, it delivers a smooth, balanced body with a gentle fruity acidity—an exceptional representation of Colombia’s specialty coffees.
