Witch Fever – Corporation P.O.P
Raw, heavy, and unapologetically honest – the Salford band returns with their most ferocious record yet
On Corporation P.O.P, Witch Fever deliver their heaviest and most confrontational work to date. Produced by Jim Shaw, Zach Jones, and KJ Strock, the album channels raw emotion, biting humor, and unfiltered social commentary into a furious blend of punk, metal, and noise.
Written between the chaos of far-flung tours and the grounding reality of returning home to Salford, Corporation P.O.P explores the dissonance between worlds. It’s a record about modern burdens—emotional, political, existential—and how those burdens are packaged, sold, and internalized. P.O.P stands for “Payment of Pain,” a nod to the commodification of struggle, and the band’s refusal to sanitize it.
Shifting between wry reflection and explosive catharsis, this album captures Witch Fever’s live intensity and confrontational spirit. It’s not always pretty—but it’s always real.
