Dog Ear is the fourth full-length album from acclaimed Americana band The Bros. Landreth. It is a product of spending a lot of time on the road together touring their last album Come Morning and a 10th Anniversary release of their debut album Let it Lie. They came back from tour energized by their live chemistry and tried to write and record with that same energy and spirit. The result is an album that is injected with the live energy of their shows, but also the careful tenderness and production work they are known for.The album is about figuring out what it means to be a consistent and present force for the people in your life that you care about. To show up and be there for your friends, your kids, your brother, your bandmates, your partner. This album, in a way, is leaving behind little crumbs of the things they hold dear. The album also features two magical appearances from Bonnie Raitt and one from Begonia. They both imbued a wonderful vocal counterpoint to Dave and Joey's sound to create some truly special moments.
