The Cuphead Show! is more than just an adaptation of Studio MDHR’s bombastic hit video game shoot-’em-up: Both a reverent homage to early American animation and an irreverent musical slapstick romp, the show carved out a unique aesthetic identity of its very own. 

Ego Plum’s playful, lively soundtrack plays a massive role in establishing that identity. Calling to mind inspirations ranging from ‘30s vaudeville to the golden age of ‘90s animation, The Cuphead Show’s music is packed with enough personality to match the show’s charming cast of characters. Speaking of characters - they sing, too, including a super catchy theme song that’ll put your gramophone in the best of moods.

We at iam8bit just can’t get enough Cuphead, Mugman, and Ms. Chalice in our lives, so we teamed up with our pals at Netflix to bring you this: The Cuphead Show! 2xLP, two high-quality 180 gram black vinyl discs filled to the brim with the show’s energetic music.

For the album art, we worked with the show’s creator, executive producer (and sometimes song writer), Dave Wasson, to craft designs that thread the needle between “classic throwback” and “modern maverick” just as deftly as the show itself. The whole gang's here, from Cuphead and his pals to Elder Kettle and even the Devil himself, on one of the inner sleeves. Plus, to make the package all-the-sweeter, we’ve included a bonus collectible postcard featuring original illustrations you won’t find anywhere else.
