John Brodeur's third full-length as Bird Streets is a paranoid guitar-pop record, rife with themes of isolation and existential dread. Produced by Jason Falkner at his Los Angeles studio, it was recorded over four years, beginning in the early days of the global pandemic, and runs the musical gamut from claustrophobic folk to anthemic indie-pop to punk-rock freakout. While largely a two-man affair, with Brodeur and Falkner handling all the musical chores, the album also features guest spots by Gina Romantini (Wallflowers, Jayhawks), Zach Jones (Sting), and Oscar Albis Rodriguez (A Great Big World).
