The Architect, one half of Homeliss Derilex, is a foundational figure in Hip-Hop whose early production work helped spark Stones Throw Records around when it was founded in 1996.Three decades later, The Architect returns to where it all began. Sampling exclusively from Stones Throw's vinyl catalog, he constructs an instrumental beat album that feels both archival and forward-looking. Overseen and curated by Peanut Butter Wolf, the project captures a rare full-circle moment. The album weaves together sounds from across the Stones Throw universe, sampling a diverse range of artists including Sudan Archives, Mild High Club, Los Retros, John Carroll Kirby, Jerry Paper, Sofie Royer, Jonti, and more.
