30 original arrangements, styled and newly recorded by American trumpeter and bandleader Al Hirt. He is probably best remembered for his million-selling hit "Java" which features here. This record plays homage to the brass greats, with covers of songs made famous by the likes of Harry James, Eddie Calvert, Charlie Spivak, Clyde McCoy, Louis Prima, Tommy Dorsey, Chuck Mangione, Dizzy Gillespie, Louis Armstrong and Herb Alpert.
