2nd US LP, by the influential British beat band, originally released in November 1965. Side one is a compilation of tracks released as A and B sides of 45rpm singles - featuring Jeff Beck as lead guitarist while Side 2 features Eric Clapton on lead guitar, recorded live at the Marquee Club in London's Soho in March 1964. These were previously released on the 1st British LP Five Live Yardbirds - but unissued in the USA. This album was the band's highest charting album in the US and was pressed as an export release in Britain. This release was massively influential on the emerging US psychedelic rock scene - for the "rave-up" extended middle eights -inspiring The 13th Floor Elevators and The Jefferson Airplane amongst many more.
