Bob writes lyrics and music, sings and plays the guitar, while Mary Ann sings. "Misty Morning,"which was the first song they sang together; and informal singing for friends sparked the idea for Mary Ann and Bob to sing and work together professionally. Both Bob and Mary Ann are skilled musicians; as a matter of fact, they met at Wittenberg University's School of Music in 1966.Mary Ann and Bob toured with the Wittenberg Choir throughout South America, performing in Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Uruguay and in Pucrto Rico. Bob was musical director for the "hootenanny"? section of the Choir's program. The group's tour throughout the Eastern Seaboard States terminated at Town Hall in New York City.Informality is the quality which creates The Hubbels* spontaneous style.
