The captured metallic particles can be easily wiped off the magnets surface, restoring the magnetic strength and efficiency. The magnet is completely unaffected by temperature variation and can confidently hold 1kg of weight with ease. Our magnetic sump plugs are manufactured from lightweight, 6061-T6 grade Aluminium and are available in a hard-wearing anodised Black finish. Provided with this magnetic sump plug is an Aluminium crush washer for a secure, leak-free and simple installation. Please note, it is not recommended to re-use the Aluminium crush washer.
