It was released in November 2001 and it garnered several accolades including #1 Latin Billboard Album and Latin Grammy Award for Album of the Year among others. It was produced by Humberto Gatica. Alejandro Sanz was the first Spanish performer to record an MTV Unplugged album. This album introduced two new songs during it's initial release, "Y Solo Se Me Ocurre Amarte" and "Aprendiz. Additionally, MTV Unplugged contains Sanz' biggest all-time hits performed live including "Corazon Partio", "Cuando Nadie Me Ve", "Amiga Mia", "Quisiera Ser" and many more.
