Ol’ Burger Beats is the alias of Ole-Birger Neergård, a Norwegian hip-hop producer, dee jay and record collector that hails from Vatne, Norway. Earning accolades over the years from the likes of Pitchfork, Mass Appeal, Okayplayer and more, the talented beatsmith has been compared by critics to the likes of Pete Rock and J.Dilla. Out of Sight, Out Of Mind marks Burger’s third full length effort, comprised predominantly of instrumental tracks and remixes that are sprinkled with verses from the likes of Illa J, Oliver The 2nd, Chester Watson, Kent Loon, Ivan Ave and Quelle Chris. Originally released in August of 2018 via HHV and limited to just 250 copies, the album was met with much acclaim and helped further establish Ol’ Burger Beats as one of the more elite producers in today’s hip-hop/jazz landscape.
