Beginning her career while still in her teens, Kirsty MacColl made her name at the age of 22 with her hit song 'There's A Guy Works Down the Chip Shop Swears He's Elvis'. A great British singer and songwriter who sang with Rolling Stones, Van Morrison, Shane McGowan and Bono. Kite is her 1989 second album produced by then husband Steve Lillywhite (producer of U2, Rolling Stones) and Johnny Marr (former guitarist/co-writer the Smiths). Kirsty wrote and co-wrote eight of the songs featured on this release. This compilation was originally released as a Record Store Day 2020 sold out and is now available on 140g black vinyl for the first time.
