Producers: Colin Fairley, Dave Edmunds, Nick Lowe.No chance of anyone else coming up with an album title such as this. These eleven songs were recorded during five different session in varying locations and with varying personnel in '86 and '87, but due to Lowe's topnotch songs and his inspired choices of covers, this album plays like a nicely unified whole. Fabulous Thunderbirds Kim Wilson and Jimmie Vaughan join in on the bristling opener, "(You're My) Wildest Dream." Many of his usual bandmates are on board (Paul Carrack, Martin Belmont, etc), and with Terry Williams snapping snare drum, especially on John Hiatt's "Love Gets Strange," it sounds almost like the second coming of Rockpile. This is an unassuming album by a consummate artist, comfortable with a healthy range of musical genres.
