Forming in 1993, No Retreat was one of Pennsylvania's heaviest beat down hardcore bands mixing heavy riffs with death metal-like vocals that incited huge pits everywhere they played. 2023 marks the 20 year anniversary of their second (and unfortunately last) full length album, "Pray For Peace." Breaking up shortly after it's release, "Pray For Peace" quickly sold out and was never repressed. After believing for years that the backups had been lost, Screaming Crow Records planned on re-mastering and re-releasing the album with bonus tracks from their 2000 split LP with Krutch. As the label began redesigning the artwork and remastering the album, the backups were found in the bottom of an unmarked box. Delighted in it's discovery, the label immediately contacted original producer, Eric Klinger (Pro-Pain, The Take), to remix and remaster the album. Originally recorded in a basement in Pittsburgh, Klinger has painstakingly edited and remixed the album to make it sound 100 times better than the original.
