Formed in Brussels in 2020 by four expatriates from Mons, Gut Model emerged during the anxious context of the pandemic, which was conducive to intense creative effervescence. After a first series of demos and an inaugural concert at Café Central in late 2021, the band released several records and played numerous shows on the Belgian alternative scene. In 2024, their collaboration with EXAG' Records materialized with the album Spulctures, recorded at B.U.N.K., marking an artistic shift towards a maximalist art rock infused with progressive rock, noise, and contemporary experimentation. Gut Model is currently preparing Hex on us!, expected in April 2026 on EXAG' Records, an album whose sounds and themes are rooted in current ecological, technological, and sociopolitical tensions.-Gut Model is a Brussels-based maximalist art rock quartet, formed in 2020.
