After 10 years of silence, The Lanskies are back with a new album and a new line-up. The album "War Machine" will be released on April 17, 2026, on ZRP.Inventors of Hot Wave (as described by Tracks on Arte), The Lanskies are back to set the world on fire. An ambitious project, at the crossroads of post-punk and indie-pop influences, recorded at Studio de la Chouette and mixed by renowned sound engineer Clive Martin (Queen, The Cure, Les Wampas, Les Négresses Vertes, Stereophonics, etc.), promising a sound that is both dense and sophisticated. Eleven powerful rock tracks that blend influences (Pulp, Kaiser Chiefs, LCD Soundsystem, Talking Heads, and even Oasis) while retaining a strong sense of individuality.Led by their charismatic frontman Lewis Evans, known for their breathtaking live performances (around fifty concerts on their previous album took them from Rock en Seine to China), their concert schedule is already filling up fast with a dozen dates already announced. A special Record Store Day vinyl will be available when the album is released, with an exclusive design and a bonus track.
