The title references both the French city where it was recorded and the Ramones' 1978 album, Road to Ruin. It features the singles, "Low C," "Fin," and fan-favorite, "St. Petersburg," a captivating and beautiful track with a hint of John Lennon's influence. Arguably their most personal album, it represented a departure from the band's signature upbeat sound. This new, mellow, and introspective direction made the entire album a critical success. Newly remastered, this expanded edition includes previously unheard live and studio recordings. This 2 LP set is pressed on petrol and forest green color vinyl in a gatefold jacket with printed inner sleeves. A 16-page booklet features liner notes written by Mark Radcliffe.
