• Mutant, in partnership with WaterTower Music are proud to present the premiere release of the Soundtrack to the Original Series Gilmore Girls, featuring music by Sam Phillips, whose iconic score and original songs defined the sound and emotional tone of the beloved Warner Bros. Television series.

  The release marks the first time the music has been made available across digital platforms and was put together in partnership with show creator Amy Sherman-Palladino. The collection features 18 tracks, across seven seasons. Gilmore Girls captured the rhythm and warmth of small-town life; from quick-witted conversations to quiet moments between mother and daughter. Sam Phillips’ unmistakable “La La’s” and expressive, minimalist arrangements became integral to the show’s identity, underscoring both its humor and heart.

  Reflecting on the project, composer Sam Phillips shared:
“If I had a new episode of Gilmore Girls for every request I’ve gotten over the years to release the ‘La La’s’ score for fans of the show, I would be beyond happy. But now I am thrilled to say that Warner Bros. Television/WaterTower Music asked me to put together an album of those ‘La La’s’ for any and all who want them. Even though I was listening to my own voice and melodies as I was working on the album, I felt like I was in Stars Hollow with all the snacks and coffee, drama and charm. I hope these little pieces of music take listeners back to the world of Lorelai and Rory…to the Gilmore universe we all love.”

  Available in a range of limited-edition physical formats, including a 140gm Coffee color vinyl. Two other color ways will be available at the Warner Brothers' Holiday’s Made Here tour, where they’ll be celebrating 25 years of Gilmore Girls in Los Angeles.
