Polish metal band Aquilla was formed in Warsaw in 2015. Their heavy speed space metal is inspired by films such as 2001: A Space Odyssey, Dune, Alien, Blade Runner, and Interstellar. A band of passionate science fiction fans, they have created their own universe which tells the story of the last surviving humans who have decided to develop new life on the planet Yvad'déra. This concept was developed on their 2022 debut album, Mankind's Odyssey and contines on Sentinels Of New Dawn. This time around, we're dealing with crazy space pirates ("Plunder And Steel"), bloodthirsty mercenaries ("Battalion 31") and deranged tech autocrats ("Technocrat's Tyranny").
