Designed for integration in any automotive oil or coolant system that features a 1/8" NPT threaded port (female), such as an inline port adapter or a threaded female port. This thermal switch activates a 12-volt accessory such as an oil pump, or cooling fan relay when the fluid reaches the prescribed temperature. Three temperature options are available: 82°C (180°F), 88°C (190°F) and 93°C (200°F), to suit all requirements and applications.
*Please note this thermal switch must not be wired directly to an electric fan, or oil pump and must only be used to trigger the relay as it is not rated for excessive current draw.
This product listing is for an individual thermal switch. If you require an inline port adapter, please see our alternative listing which offers the option to select from a range of inline port adapter thread sizes and configurations.
