Each song tells a story from that gritty western world where betrayal, brutality, bravado, and desperation shape the lives of those who dare face the spreading Corruption and fight the monsters it has created. In "Web of the Empress," you'll hear the tale of a woman buried alive, only be to be revived by hundreds of corrupted spiders. In "Beneath the Apple Tree," a man contemplates his own despair as he exchanges his innocent dreams for a gun and a grave. And in "Curtain Call," deranged circus clowns invite the listener to follow them into the darkness of their own madness and corruption.
