Immerse yourself in CRISTEL®’s rich heritage, with our new 1826® collection. This brushed-finish stainless steel stock pot, sold with its glass lid, embodies a rich and symbolic history in the world of cookware.~
In 1826®, the world’s first stamped saucepan was born, designed in our factory in Fesches-le-Châtel, Burgundy, France. This unique collection chronicles two centuries of expertise, innovation, and passion of the men and women who have worked to pay tribute to this rich heritage.~
The tapered shape of this stainless steel pan has been carefully replicated to reflect the structure of its ancestor, designed several hundred years ago.
Thanks to its heat-diffusing base made of three layers (induction stainless steel - aluminum - 18/10 stainless steel), this induction-compatible cookware ensures rapid, even heat distribution for uniform cooking.~
Its stainless steel structure guarantees good temperature retention when serving food.~
Its ergonomic handles, firmly riveted to the body of the pan are heat-resistant and ensure an excellent grip with no risk of burns for guaranteed safety in the kitchen. Their polished stainless steel finish contrasts nicely with the brushed finish of the pot.~
The rounded glass lid not only enhances heat distribution, but also retains moisture during cooking, ensuring that food stays moist and tastes great. Its stainless steel knob ensures pleasant handling without burning yourself. Its borosilicate glass structure makes it highly resistant to temperatures of up to 400°F, so it can be used for covered roasting in the oven.
This stewpot with lid set is available in 4 capacities:
1.50 qt (6" diameter) / 2 qt (7" diameter) / 3 qt (8" diameter) / 4.50 qt. (9.5" diameter)
