SUNSHINE is the first live album from Toronto-based Southern Soul Roots Rock band Bywater Call. Featuring a mix of newly released music-including their funky new original "Sunshine" and a cover of Stephen Stills' "Love the One You're With"-alongside fan favourites such as "As If," "Sign of Peace," and "Everybody Knows" from 2024's Shepherd album, and "Bring Me Down" from their 2019 self-titled debut, SUNSHINE is an epic, energetic glimpse into the band's powerful live show.Recorded at performances in Toronto (Canada), Woodstock (New York, USA), and Newbury (UK), the album captures extended one-of-a-kind jams, fiery solos, and haunting introductions. The band's ability to improvise, innovate, and play off each other shines through, while lead singer Meghan Parnell delivers her signature gritty, dynamic, and emotive vocals.Bywater Call's lineup includes Dave Barnes (guitar/slide), Mike Meusel (bass), Bruce McCarthy (drums), John Kervin (keys), Julian Nalli (sax), and Stephen Dyte (trumpet). SUNSHINE was captured and mixed by drummer Bruce McCarthy and mastered by Kristian Montano (Montano Mastering), offering listeners a true reflection of the heart and sweat poured out on stage every night.
