Expanding from the sleepier, acoustic-driven bedroom territory of his debut (2019's 'Good To Know You'), 'These Northwood Blues' finds singer-songwriter Jack M. Senff exploring the 70's-inspired realm of folk-rock Americana. Drawing influence from Neil Young & other artist of the era, Senff & his newly-formed Rolling Hill Band tracked the album live with minimal overdubbing at Eureka Records in Wyandotte, Michigan during a weekend-break in the July 2020 chaos of national sociopolitical upheaval. In turns driving, volatile, exuberant, & patient, 'These Northwood Blues' plays with the form & allows Senff to continue putting his own characteristic spin on the longstanding tradition of greater folk music.
