Alfa Mist is one of the driving forces behind a young and vibrant scene of UK musicians, who've taken on jazz as their musical narrative. On his latest album Bring Backs the producer, self-taught pianist and rapper takes us on a sonic trip back to his beat-making past on the streets of East London, through the depth and musicality he discovered composing and playing jazz. Following the release of Bring Backs, London based producer, pianist, bandleader and MC Alfa Mist releases a new two track EP, Two For Mistake via ANTI-, on 10" vinyl. Recorded live at Alfa's studio session from London's renowned Metropolis Studios earlier in 2021, the EP includes 'Bumper Cars' - an extended live version of the Bring Backs album track 'Last Card' - and a cover of Freddie Hubbard's 1971 classic 'First Light'. The new EP arrives ahead of Alfa's upcoming tours, which include his debut US shows. The run will prove to be the first time fans will be able to hear tracks from Bring Backs and Two For Mistake in a live setting.
